I propose a new flag for Great Britain, one that drops the Irish St. Patrick's Cross (since they left over 100 years ago!) and incorporates the Welsh flag (as well as the St. George's Cross and the Saltire).  I claim original intellectual property rights, but allow free use...

I love the original union flag (union jack) but it really does need a change, since politics has moved on and Ireland became a free state.  Also, the lack of the recognition of Wales has never sat with me very well, and I'm sure it doesn't with others.  Remember that this is a British flag, not a flag of the United Kingdom (which would mean incorporating Northern Ireland).  I propose this as the GREAT BRITISH FLAG.

Let me know what you think.
